PI Group – Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8/20/25
By purchasing or receiving any report, consultation, or service from Pavement Integrity Group (“PI Group”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope of Services
PI Group provides observational pavement condition assessments, budget-level repair recommendations, and ADA compliance observations based on the information provided by the client and/or visual data (including photos). These reports are informational in nature and are intended to assist in general maintenance planning.
No design, specification, or construction services are provided. Reports do not constitute engineering design, construction drawings, or stamped professional engineering services unless explicitly stated.
Reports may include general ADA compliance observations; however, they are not a professional ADA survey and do not verify pavement slopes, cross-slopes, or other measurements requiring certified survey equipment.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Providing accurate and up-to-date information via forms, photos, or correspondence.
Ensuring any photos submitted are clear, current, and relevant to the property or pavement in question.
Reviewing report recommendations in context with local codes, budgets, and site-specific conditions.
Client remains responsible for compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and accessibility requirements.
3. Limitations of Use
Reports are for the exclusive use of the purchasing client and may not be resold or broadly distributed without written permission from PI Group.
Clients are welcome to share reports with contractors, vendors, or internal decision-makers for the purpose of obtaining bids, budgeting, or maintenance planning.
Reports are intended for general planning purposes only and are not a substitute for a licensed engineer’s or contractor’s evaluation.
Reports may not be used for permitting, legal disputes, construction design, or code certification unless explicitly authorized in writing.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
PI Group’s liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the report.
PI Group shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or reliance on any report.
5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and all disputes arising from services provided shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Venue for any legal action shall be in Cook County, Illinois.
6. Refund Policy
If you change your mind, cancellations requested within 24 hours of payment and before report processing begins will be refunded in full.
Once report preparation has started, all sales are final since the work involves time and expertise that cannot be reversed.
If you believe a factual error exists in your report, contact us within 7 days and we will review and correct it at no additional charge.
Revisions will not be made for differences in professional judgment or opinion.
7. Data and Privacy
Client data will only be used to deliver the requested service and communicate with the client. PI Group does not sell or share client information with third parties. Data may be anonymized and aggregated for internal research and service improvement purposes.
